Product Details

The State of Ohio consists of 88 counties, each with their own independent courts.
The criminal trial courts in Ohio are County Common Pleas Courts (Felonies) and
Municipal and/or County Courts (Misdemeanors). Municipal Courts have jurisdiction over
misdemeanor and traffic offenses committed within one of several municipalities covered
by that Court. County Courts have jurisdiction over misdemeanor and traffic offenses
committed outside of the municipalities and/or on a countywide basis. Today in Ohio,
manual county searches cover the primary municipal court and the common pleas court,
both at the county seat.

Coverage

All cases are reported independently by each courts system. Beginning coverage for each
court is typically between 1990 and 1996, but not less than a 7 year history. Results also
include Department of Correction and Ohio Sex Offender Registry records.
